It has been one heck of a year! So many friends, so many weddings, so many laughs, so many amazingly good times and plenty of tough ones as well. 2016 was definitely a year of learning, growth, struggle, and a deeper appreciation of family and community.
Because of people like you, I was able to make it through the last year with a full heart and a smile on my face. Thank you so much for being a part of my life and my community. In light of my current circumstances and most recent life events, I was unable to provide gifts or cards for my friends and family this year. I built this space to display some special moments from this past year. If you have moments and photos of us together, I would text or email them to me to share (firstname.lastname@example.org).
This year has been a whirlwind and seemed to go by so fast while also moving so slow. Seeing my family and traveling to Seattle while navigating a snow storm at the start of the year was an adventure and so much fun. I started a new position at my job and work with some absolutely amazing people. The marketing team is full of great individuals who are highly motivated and so fun to be around. Thank you all for putting up with me and helping become better at my job. YoungLife has become a huge part of my life. I love spending time with students and the other leaders. Whether it is speaking, running program, playing games or just spending time with highschoolers, YoungLife has provided me with an amazing family and the ability to give back.
The community of young adults at church is a community that I would not trade for anything. Whether we are cutting Christmas trees and getting our vehicles stuck in the snow, dressing up like Mad Men, dancing at weddings, hiking, wine tasting, back yard bbqs, remodeling houses, talking about Jesus, playing with kiddos or simply having dinner together, you all have been there for me from the start and made me feel like a part of the family. Thank you. I love you.
If you are still reading and are a part of my life, know that I truly appreciate you. I wish you and yours a merry Christmas and a happy new year! May God bless you this year.
